Anthony Tata Introduces the Threat Novel Series

Retired Brigadier General Anthony Tata’s tight suspense thriller prose explodes from the page, capturing the reader. Tata has reinvented himself as a suspense fiction novelist, recognized by no less than Presidents George H.W. Bush and George W. Bush who have both given high praise to his novels, as well as former House Speaker Newt Gingrich, commentator Glenn Beck, and U.S. News & World Report, which has compared Tata to bestselling author Tom Clancy.

Anthony Tata’s first entry into the world of suspense fiction was Sudden Threat (Amazon #1 Bestseller), released in 2009, which has since become the first of the Threat series, followed by Rogue Threat (Amazon #1 Bestseller), Hidden Threat and Number 4, Mortal Threat. Tata’s second of the series, Rogue Threat, drew high praise from Author Magazine, The Military Writers Society of America, and authors Brad Thor and John Lescroart, as well as U.S. News & World Report, which compared Tata to bestselling suspense author Tom Clancy, writer of Hunt for Red October and the Jack Ryan series. Tata’s third Threat novel, Hidden Threat, was an exploration of thrilling and frightening military operations on an international scale and a psychological study of the ramifications of a soldier’s death on his only child. Again, authors like W.E.B. Griffin and W.E. Butterworth IV, as well as Paul Bedard of U.S. News & World Report, praised Tata’s powerful and realistic style.

Anthony Tata’s 4th Threat novel, Mortal Threat, compelled with its masterful weaving of story lines as diverse as an Ebola cure, ancient texts and an ISIS threat with a new female heroine to tie it together. Mortal Threat became the Number 1 downloaded book on Amazon’s thrillers list.
